Five Ways to Promote Your Blog

I found Susan Johnston’s blog called The Urban Muse through the Jibber Jobber blog. Susan has a useful post titled Five Ways to Promote Your Blog. There is more text and links at her blog, the five ways are these:
1. Add your link to all your profiles.
2. Comment Early and Often.
3. Create reciprocal links.
4. Google/Google Alerts.
5. Register with blog directories.

    Bengt, these are good suggestions and help to remind that the “if you build it they will come” isn’t all that easy (or true). At least it hasn’t been for me.

    My ’secret’ has been brute force. I have relied on lots of comments on other people’s blogs (#2), and the most important: #6 Link out to others. Share the link love.
