My concept is to cover “Nuts and bolts as well as bits and pieces”. Nuts and bolts, like blogging and personal growth, have their own categories while bits and pieces are lumped together under a few wider categories.

WordPress.com uses categories as tags plus uses the tags to show other blogs within WordPress.com that uses the same ones. I would like to separate categories and tags, having about a dozen categories but being more genrous with tags. And I would like my tags to be local, to work within my own blog.

WordPress.com has launched a Contact Form. Now people can send you an email without you ever publicly displaying your email address. And as a bonus, the contact email is passing through Akismet which should reduce the number of spam emails.

I have added the functionality to subscribe to my blog using email. My provider is FeedBlitz, a service I have tested on other blogs. All you need to do to get my new posts in your mail is to click the FeedBlitz-button in the side menu or click on this link.

StumbleUpon is an interesting site where you can recommend websites, webpages, blogs, blogposts, videos etc. You can also stumble upon what other has recommended and join groups of people with similar interests. Stumbling, using their toolbar, means StumbleUpon shows you pages other people have reviewed.
