Ads versus content

I came across a blog today with, in my opinion, more focus on ads than content. Looking above the fold (what is shown on screen without scrolling) about 50% was ads. Subtract the header area and there was only about 25% content. The blog post started with some Google ads, then came the text.

XING has launched Marketplace

Yesterday XING launched a new feature called Marketplace. At present Marketplace has the category job openings but there are inactive buttons for services and real estate.
All XING users can view postings and search the Marketplace. Posters have the option of allowing postings to be accessed via Google.

Google is on the go, adding FeedBurner to its “empire”. I wonder what Microsoft and Yahoo will do to match this?

I found the Logo Design Blog while browsing MyBlogLog. Logos are interesting and I found a post titled Design Inspiration: 56 Most Creative Logos. The logos shown, with links to the companies, are a mix of unknown (at least to me) and well known logos.
