Link harvest and popular posts

Alex King has a list with his WordPress Plugins, I have installed two more of them.

Link Harvest keeps track of external links in posts and pages. Once installed you start a harvest of existing links. After that it catches your links when you publish. I use this plugin to see which blogs/sites I link to, in part to not always stick to the same ones. You can could see the harvest result in my Links page (see Update below).

Popularity Contest helps you see which of your posts are most popular. You get lots of stats available in your dashboard. Views, comments, etc. are tracked and given configurable point values to determine popularity. The plugin has default point values, I decided to stick to them.

Update
I have decided to remove these two plugins, partly because of uncluttering my blog, partly because they gave me not enough additional value.
