Use your own domain for your email

I subscribe to the Business Success Secrets newsletter from Project Woodward. In todays edition, #35, there is something I totally agree to:

There is nothing, in my book, that looks more unprofessional than sending business emails from a yahoo, hotmail, btinternet or other ISP email address. Gmail is just about ok - but it looks far more professional to be using your own domain name as your email address.

They also mention using a feed reader to follow blogs and news. I prefer subscribing by email, if it not is available at the site in question then use FeedBlitz to set it up.
