Analyze your blog for fun

Typealyzer will analyze and suggest a Jung-Myers-Briggs type. It also shows a brain activity analysis which looks cool.

Forty Plus Two was classified as INTJ – The Scientists while Zen and more was classified as ISTP – The Mechanics. I think both should be taken with a grain of salt but it shows that sticking to a set choice of blogging topics gives a different result than my personal Jung-Myers-Briggs type.

Genderanalyzer determines if a homepage is written by a man or woman. Both of my blogs were rightly typed as written by a man.

    Hi there! I came across this post through my Google Alerts for the word “MBTI.” This may or may not be of interest to you, but I write a blog about the MBTI and wrote a post about how Typealyzer is basically junk. I know lots of people are checking it out for entertainment sake- and that’s totally cool…but I hope you don’t confuse those “blog type” results for your own personality type. Anyway, I won’t go into why the site is junk here, I just wanted to let you know if you wanted to learn more, here’s the original post: http://www.thembtiblog.com/2008/11/websites-that-ruin-my-day.html.

    I also have a discussion in the comments section with the creator of the Typealyzer site.

    @Breanne,
    I am interested in Jung-Myers-Briggs types and analyzing a blog is fun.

    Since the site above analyzes the blog and not the person behind it, the type given is for the blog content and not for the blogger as person.
