I use Google Alerts to keep track of who is linking to my blogs and sites. Since you can create an alert for any search term I also use Google Alerts to watch some key words for me. It is an easy way for me to get emails when something interesting pops up on net.

I have created a page with the WordPress plugins that I use at my blogs. There are posts about various plugins here, now I have a list of what is currently used. My intention is to keep the page up to date.

I must confess that I thought SEO, search engine optimization, was something consultants sold to the big guys and not for small blogs like mine.
More for the sake of it I did install the All in One SEO Pack in WordPress, put in on automatic (the plugin autocreates SEO keywords and excerpt) and forgot about [...]

When creating my new coach directory, CoachGuiden (in Swedish only), I wanted to protect the email addresses from those that harvest for spam purposes.
I found CryptX, author page at CryptX (in German), which works very well.

I got WordPress Firefox Add-on: Zemanta from Hack WordPress in my mail today. Zemanta looks like a very interesting tool for bloggers. They currently support Wordpress.com, Blogger.com, Typepad.com, and self-hosted Wordpresses from version 2.0 onwards.

One of my other blogs got targeted with spam comments, all aimed for one specific post. I did turn of comments for that post but that did not help, I have gotten 5,200 spams in a short period of time. Akismet properly catches the spam comments but I wanted to stop spam from getting into [...]
