LinkedIn has launched Answers which is a place where you can ask questions and/or answer other peoples questions. Asking questions means tapping into other peoples knowledge, answering questions is a way to raise your own visibility. The later is the first thing in Guy Kawasakis list of how to better utilize LinkedIn.
